About us

Priory Parkside Colts FC was founded in 1978 when a group of parents in St. Neots, formed one team to play in the Cambridge & District Colts league. We now have over 20 teams from ages under 7’s through to under 16’s that play in the Hunts Youth League, Cambridge Mini Soccer and Colts Leagues and Cambridge & District Girls League.

In addition to our regular teams we also hold mini soccer fun sessions, for children aged 4 to 10, which is a great introduction to the game for many youngsters.

We are proud the English FA have awarded us a Standard Charter Award for our dedicated achievements as a Community Club that is committed to delivering the best possible experience for players, referees, coaches and supporters, making football safe and fun for everyone.

In its 40 year history, more than 8000 youngsters have played for the club. Some have gone on to play at the very highest level including playing for England and in an FA Cup Final as well as at a semi professional level, but the overriding achievement of the club is creating an opportunity for youngsters of any ability to play the game to a good standard, in a safe environment and it is this core community and grassroots ethos that is central to the club. We also have one of the lowest player registration fee’s in the league which makes it both affordable and accessible to everyone. We are completely volunteer run and a club this size takes time, effort and money but it is also extremely rewarding for all involved.
